What is Accu-Chek FastClix Lancets?

Accu-Chek FastClix Lancets are small, sterile needles designed to collect blood samples for glucose testing.

Each drum contains six lancets and is used with the Accu-Chek FastClix lancing device. The device is primarily intended for fingertip testing, but can also be used on alternative sites such as the palm or forearm if recommended by your healthcare provider.

Once all six lancets are used, the drum should be replaced. This system is designed for single-user use only and should not be shared.

Accu-Chek FastClix Lancets allow you to quickly and easily collect a small blood sample for testing.

To use the lancet, press the device against your finger and push the button on top. After each use, you can switch to a new lancet by moving the white lever.

The device displays the number of lancets remaining in the drum.

How to Use?

Before Use:

  • Wash your hands with warm water and soap, then dry them completely

Insert a Lancet Drum:

  • Remove the cap from the lancing device
  • Insert the new lancet drum (white end first)
  • Replace the cap until it clicks into place
  • Confirm the lancet counter shows six

Set Penetration Depth:

  • Turn the comfort dial to your preferred setting

Obtain Blood Sample:

  • Press the lancing device against the side of your fingertip
  • Press the release button to obtain a drop of blood
  • Massage your finger gently to collect enough blood for testing

Advance to a New Lancet:

  • Push the lever on the side of the device back and forth once
  • The counter will decrease by one

Replace a Used Drum:

  • Remove the cap
  • Remove and dispose of the used drum
  • Insert a new drum and replace the cap
