When you order medication through Pharma Giant, you’re connecting directly to licensed Canadian pharmacies that follow strict Health Canada and postal safety standards. We understand that buyers want more than just affordability, but also confidence that every shipment is handled with care, integrity, and legal compliance.
What You Can Expect When Shipping Medicines from Canada
Our shipping process was developed to make cross-border delivery safe, traceable, and fully transparent, while maintaining the quality of every product from the moment it leaves a pharmacy to the moment it arrives at your door.
Licensed Pharmacies and Verified Orders
All medications shipped through Pharma Giant are dispensed by licensed Canadian pharmacies that comply with Health Canada’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and provincial pharmacy regulations. Each order requires a valid prescription from a licensed healthcare provider.
Packages include full documentation, including invoices, pharmacy details, and prescription verification, to support smooth customs clearance.
We cannot ship:
-
- Controlled substances
- Narcotics or habit-forming medications
- Any medication flagged as prohibited under US law
Our team reserves the right to decline any order that appears inconsistent with legitimate personal-use purposes.
Packaging, Shipping, and Rates
All orders are shipped using Canada Post, a trusted carrier known for secure international delivery. You’ll receive a tracking number once your package has shipped so that you can monitor it every step of the way.
Rates are as follows:
-
- All insulin & cold medications are shipped via Canada Post Xpress for $29.99-$39.99.
- All oral medications & diabetes supplies are shipped using Standard Canada Post for $14.99.
At this time, we only ship within the continental United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii.
How Cold-Chain Medications Are Shipped
Certain medications, such as insulin, GLP-1 injectables, or biologics, must remain within a specific temperature range during transit. Our contracted pharmacies follow Health Canada’s guidelines for temperature control of drug products during storage and transportation, ensuring product stability at every stage.
Cold-chain medications are shipped in:
-
- Thermal insulated boxes
- Refrigerant gel packs
- Tamper-evident packaging
Products that are stable at room temperature are shipped in standard reinforced boxes to prevent crushing or heat exposure.
Split Shipments and Multiple Prescriptions
Generally, your medications will all be shipped at the same time. If your order includes medications from multiple pharmacies, the items may ship separately. Pharma Giant coordinates each shipment and will always notify you if your order is divided for logistical or quality reasons.
You may see more than one charge on your statement, but the total amount will never exceed your confirmed order price. We will not split shipments without your consent.
Delivery Timeline
Most packages arrive within 4 to 10 business days. All temperature-controlled medications are shipped Monday through Friday to maintain product integrity and avoid extended weekend transit.
Since all orders must clear US customs, occasional delays can occur, particularly during holidays, inspection periods, or times of increased postal service volume. In some cases, operational disruptions within the postal system may also extend transit times.
For peace of mind, we recommend placing orders 30 to 45 days before you’ll need your next refill. This ensures you receive your medication on time, even if shipping conditions temporarily change.
Delivery and Signature Requirements
All packages require a signature upon delivery to protect against theft and ensure proper handover. If you’re not home when delivery is attempted, the package will be available for pickup at your local post office.
Unclaimed parcels are returned to our warehouse at the customer’s expense, so we advise monitoring your tracking updates closely after dispatch.
Guarantee of Delivery
Pharma Giant guarantees delivery to any valid US address within the continental United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii.
If your package does not arrive within a 2-4 week timeframe, our contracted pharmacy will re-ship your order at no additional cost. If you prefer not to have your order resent, we’ll issue a full credit equal to the original purchase amount.
Returns and Customer Support
Due to Canadian law, prescription medications cannot be returned, even if unopened. If you experience any issues with your order, including damage or delay, contact our Customer Care Specialists toll-free at 1-888-513-2294 during business hours, or email us at info@pharmagiant.com. Our pharmacists and support staff will investigate promptly and ensure a replacement or refund according to our policy.
Refill Eligibility and Quantity Limits
Under Canadian regulations, our contracted pharmacies can dispense up to a 90-day (three-month) supply of medication per order. When you subscribe to refills during checkout, any remaining refills are stored in your customer profile, and we’ll notify you automatically when you’re eligible to reorder.
Keep in mind our 30-day shipping rule. While you can place a refill anytime, shipment may be held briefly to maintain regulatory timelines between fills.
